EU Green Week 2022!
New call for EU Green Week 2022 Partner Events!
The EU Green Week is the biggest annual event on European environmental policy. The 2022 edition will take place from Monday, 30 May - Sunday, 5 June. Everybody, including individuals and organisations, is invited to organise ‘Partner Events’ during the same dates to raise awareness for green initiatives outside the EU capital Brussels.
This year’s theme, EU Green Deal – Make It Real, centres around the European Green Deal and its many initiatives. Covering a wide range of topics and sectors, from industry and new technologies to biodiversity and climate change, this brings forward the discussion on how we can work together and play an active role in making Europe’s future greener.
Organisations and individuals planning to host events on environmental topics between 30 May and 5 June are highly encouraged to register them as official EU Green Week Partner Events.
Joining the EU Green Week community as a Partner Event gives the opportunity to showcase achievements to a wider audience, to engage and to debate with other participants and to contribute to European policy development.
Partner Events are not bound to any format or style – it is up to their organisers to decide what suits their target audience best. The European Commission welcomes workshops, webinars, public debates, guided walks, awareness-raising events, exhibitions, social club activities as well as other set-ups. Whatever the format, Partner Events should be organised, ideally, in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner.
Arctik is actively involved in coordination of Partner Events providing the European Commission with a reliable and an effective organisational framework. More specifically, the agency manages their selection process, as well as oversees communication and logistic support to their organisers. Partner Events are essential for the success of the EU Green Week, and Arctik is determined to maximise the overall impact. The application process is open until 15 April 2022.
