We’re looking for a communication manager who’s eager to take a leading role in delivering our communication projects. Communication inspires you, and you have a proven track record in strategy, campaigns, and the production of deliverables. 

You combine this expertise with a passion for turning client needs into clear, actionable tasks and ensuring that projects run efficiently: on time, on budget, and to a high standard. You anticipate risks, maintain quality, and work closely with your team and management to find solutions when challenges arise, keeping every project on track and every client satisfied.

Your profile

  • Experience:
    • 3–4 years of experience in the communication field, with strong project management skills
    • Experience in the public sector or sustainability-related projects is highly valued
    • We also welcome candidates with more senior experience: a senior communication manager position can be envisaged for the right profile

  • Communication skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Strong storytelling and messaging abilities
    • Copywriting and content editing
    • Presentation and public speaking
    • Social media and digital communication proficiency

  • Project management skills:
    • Strong project management and organisational skills (we do love a retroplanning well structured!)
    • Proficient in budgeting and cost management.
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines (especially when there are competing ones who need prioritisation)

  • Other Requirements:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Knowledge of public sector processes and regulations is a plus
    • Passion for and knowledge of sustainability

Your responsibilities

  • Project planning, delivery and budget management
    • Lead the full lifecycle of communication projects: from scoping and scheduling to delivery, reporting, and lessons learned.
    • Manage timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time, on quality, and within financial targets.
    • Anticipate risks, track performance through the Agency management tools, and ensure compliance, transparency, and continuous improvement.

  • Client and partner management and internal coordination
    • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact (SPOC: Single Person of Contact if requested contractually) for our clients, ensuring the creation of a strong working relationships, leading meetings when requested, introduce updates and intervene when feedbacks loops are too lengthy
    • Coordinate and brief multidisciplinary teams and suppliers, aligning efforts and ensuring deliverables meet client needs.
    • Support and mentor junior team members, fostering accountability and teamwork across projects.

  • Communication and creativity
    • Develop and translate communication strategies into impactful campaigns and materials tailored to client objectives.
    • Oversee and contribute to content creation across channels, ensuring consistency, clarity, and creativity.
    • Contribute to proposals, tenders, and pitches, leveraging communication trends and insights to add strategic value.
