For the past 10 years, Cédric has overseen myriad communication strategies and has been involved in the design, implementation and evaluation of environment, energy, climate change and natural hazards campaigns. He is specialised in stakeholder engagement and institutional communications. He has knowledge of EU policies, particularly eco-innovation and circular economy.
He holds a Master in Sociology from the University of Louvain and a Master in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University (USA).

The co-founder of ARCTIK and company's Senior Adviser, Ralph is a sixty-year-old serial entrepreneur with a long time vision of clean-technologies and sustainable energies. As the CEO of several companies he has worked on cutting edge technologies with a number of companies, including Osram, Philips, Soitec, APTech, Thales, AXT.
Ralph has been involved with the development of clean-tech projects at major universities and research centres such as the Fraunhofer Institute, CNRS, INSEM, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
In addition to speaking French, English, Spanish and Arabic, Ralph brings 40 years of experience in business development and management and international network.

Riikka is a Consultant at Arctik, currently working on projects in the climate adaptation and eco-innovation fields.
Before joining Arctik in 2015, she was working at the Brussels office of a global PR and public affairs firm, where she provided advocacy and communications support on behalf of issues related to EU environment and climate policies. She also spent five months as a blue book trainee at the European Commission's DG Environment.
Riikka holds a MA in Politics from the University of Edinburgh and a MSc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a focus on international environmental politics. She is fluent in English, Finnish and French.

Flora is a consultant at ARCTIK. She is in charge of several EU projects and provides general communication, event management, and planning support. Previously, she worked as a project officer for a EU NGO and coordinated EU projects focusing on EU energy labeling and market surveillance activities. She also worked as an assistant to a Member of the European Parliament and developed sound knowledge of EU policy work. Prior to this, she worked for an international bank where she was handling her own portfolio of investment managers. She started her carrier in an EU consultancy specialised in environmental policies where she gained hands-on experience in policy and communication.
Communication & social media assistant
Bethany joined Arctik in 2016 as a communications intern to support Arctik's projects and programmes. She previously worked at the European Centre for Development Policy Management in Maastricht, the Netherlands, researching conflicts in Africa and EU/Africa relations. Before that, she interned with Amnesty International Australia, supporting the Legal & Governance Director.
Bethany holds a Bachelor's degree from the University College Maastricht in International Politics & Sustainable Development and spent much of her studies researching renewable energy development.
She is mainly working on Arctik's projects social media.

Dr Nicolas Baygert
Senior Consultant (expert)
Nicolas has an extensive experience in EU affairs: working for a publishing house(Helios Media), a Think Thank (CEPS) and several years in communication and PA agency before joining the European Commission (DG Energy) as a communication and press officer.
He holds an M.Phil. in Political Science, a Master of Arts in International Relations and a PhD in Information and Communication at Paris IV-Sorbonne (CELSA) and UCL.
His teachings at IHECS and ULB include a Jean Monnet module on EU communication strategies and Social Media applied to EU communication campaigns.
Nicolas has been working as an external consultant for ARCTIK since 2012 providing strategic advice on policies and PA.
Christophe Thévignot has a wealth of professional experience in the fields of EU policy, communications and knowledge management.
Between 2010 and 2016, Christophe was responsible for coordinating the EU LIFE Programme external communications team. Other high-profile positions in Christophe’s career portfolio include: Head of communications within the Brussels-based Publicis Consultants firm; Brand Manager at Belgacom; four years as a consultant for the European Commission’s DG Communication; and two years with the French embassy in Brussels, as their European correspondent.
Christophe holds Master’s degree in Linguistics and in Marketing and Communication.
Quentin is Arctik creative.
He is in charge of all visual production, including, print and web design, video production, digital media, Apps etc. He has also worked as computer graphist for The Royal Institute of Natural Sciences in Brussels. He earned a Bachelor in computer graphics from the Haute Ecole Albert Jacquard in Namur (Belgium). Quentin speaks French and has a good command of English.
