#EEAchdropcounts for a greener Europe

Many drops of water make a mighty ocean. That’s what the EEA and Norway Grants had in mind when they came up with the title of the campaign to promote their projects with a focus on sustainability. The #EEAchdropcounts campaign was the Grants’ first-ever communication campaign – and Arctik had the honour to create and execute its multiplatform strategy.

Linking audiences and content

The EEA and Norway Grants fund projects in 15 European countries whose GDP is below the continent’s average. With the campaign, the Grants wanted to promote their projects’ contributions to a greener Europe while reinforcing their local networks. Arctik translated the projects’ technical content into engaging and easily understandable articles, social media posts and video. To achieve proportional visibility in the different countries, we came up with an inventive way to segment paid social media audiences. Local partners were encouraged to contribute to the content production in their local languages.
