Emma Cabascia

Emma Cabascia joined Arctik in March 2025 as a Science Communication Intern. She holds a Master of Science in Environmental Policy from Sciences Po Paris, where she specialised in environmental communication and project management.

Previously, she completed a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies at the University of Trento, with a thesis on the existing legal framework governing climate-induced migration and displacement.

Emma has lived, studied, and worked in five different countries: Italy – where she is originally from – Canada, Netherlands, France, and Belgium.

Before joining Arctik, she worked at Greenpeace Italy in Rome as a Press Officer and Digital Communication Intern. Additionally, she is a freelance journalist, publishing articles on climate change and EU climate policy for Italian newspapers and magazines.

She is willing to pursue a career in the field of climate change communication, aiming to raise awareness about environmental issues through an intersectional and solutions-oriented approach. She defines herself as empathetic, self-aware, and curious.

She is fluent in English, native in Italian, and has a good command of French.
